William Bill Arnold Thomas age 80 of Russellville died Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Saint Marys Regional Medical Center. He was born January 29, 1937 at Freer, Texas to the late John and Anita Wiederkehr Thomas. He was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ a retired truck driver for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Joyce Hayes, Melba Upton and one brother, Darold Thomas

Survivors his wife of 60 years, Shelba Jean Watkins Thomas of Russellville; two daughters, Vicki Van Horn and husband Clay of Mount Ida, Tammy Tharp and husband Rusty of Chickalah Mtn.; one brother, Edward Buddy Thomas of Texas; four grandchildren, Cole Van Horn of Jonesboro and Callie Van Horn of Mt. Ida, Rusti and Shelbi Tharp both of Chickalah Mtn.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Mark Auten officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the chapel prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Reid, Eric Reid, Stanley Tapp, Chad Matayo, Clay Van Horn, Rusty Tharp.

Honorary Pallbearers will be past and present elders and deacons of the Dardanelle Church of Christ, Charles Combs and Tom Wilcox.
