William Lewis "Bill" Moppin age 77 of Belleville, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs.

He was born February 25, 1942 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late William Louis & Jessie Mae Conyers Moppin. He served 4 years in the Air Force, where he was a computer programmer, took 4 years apprenticeship in electrical trade, graduated as a Journeyman Electrician and worked at his trade for over 30 years. He was a member IBEW Union Local 619 in Hot Springs for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Pamela Louise Smith, sister, Carolyn Sue Cochran.

Survivors include his wife Diane Moppin; children, Suzette & Bruce Buck of Hot Springs; Jessie & Rick Ramey of Belleville; Willie Moppin of Hot springs; grandchildren, Tony & Jill Buck, Joel Buck, Jessica Buck, Justin Buck, Samantha Ramey; great-grandchildren, Brody, Emily, Caden, Coltin, Ashton and Bryce.

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Havana Cemetery with Rev. W.A. Gorman officiating.

Pallbearers include Rick Ramey, Bruce Buck, Joel Buck, Justin Buck, Tracy Tharp and Jerry Don Ramey.
