William "Bill" Eugene Watson, 92 of Ola, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Premier Nursing Home in North Little Rock. He was born September 17, 1926 in Plainview to the late Thomas and Euginia Patterson Watson. He was the vice president of the First State Bank of Plainview and Ola. Mr. Watson was an Army veteran, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ola, a Plainview Masonic Lodge, and Scottish Rite member. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Jane Johnson Watson; brothers, Bob and Theo Watson; half- brothers, James and Tommy Watson; half-sisters, Clara Mathis and Sally Poteet.

Survivors include a son, Randy Watson of Dallas Texas; brother, Charley (Nancy) Watson of North Little Rock; and sister, Virginia (Jim) Boyd of Maryland.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 28 at the Ola United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Via officiating. Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be at Salem Cemetery, Plainview. Memorial may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 320 North Greenwood Avenue, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
