William "Jesse" Garner age 84 of Danville passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at his home.

Jesse was one of 6 children born January 25, 1936 in Waltreak, Arkansas to the late Velcie Edward & Otis Mae McInturf Garner. Jesse was a good husband, father, and grandfather. He was a cattleman, a retired poultry grower, a avid hunter and a political figure for many years. Dutch Creek has lost one of the last real cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his parents. brothers, Glenn Edward, Travis Vee, and James Rufus Garner; and sister, Velva Lee Earls.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Linda Beth Robinson Garner; daughters, Belinda Beth and husband Doug Gibbs; Jessica Lynn and husband Reid Bethel; Willo Jean Garner; grandchildren, Jesse Ray Gibbs and Jade Ray Bethel; great-grandchild, Kali Bethel; sister & brother-in-law, Linda & Leroy Randall of Dardanelle; sisters-in-law, Erma Lea Garner, Barbara Garner and Ida Garner of Danville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday, October 5, 2020 at Havana Cemetery with Lynn Garner officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 am before service at the graveside.
