William Boyd Hixon age 80 of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born August 7, 1944 to the late Claud Hixon and Cleavie Reed Hixon. William served in the United States Navy, he loved walking weekly at the Bona Dea Trail with the "regulars". He loved his family and friends and was a very compassionate person. William was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, RA Hixon, Jack Hixon, Larry Hixon, Stan Hixon; sisters, Patsy Miller, Claudell Alvarado and special friend, Lear Kemp.

Survivors include one brother, Dennis Hixon and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
