William "Bill" Homer Yates, age 85 of Dover, passed away Wednesday June 22, 2022 at Stella Manor Nursing Center in Russellville. He was born March 20, 1937 in Livingston, Texas to the late Wesley Homer Yates and Myra Meadows Yates. He was always willing to help others that could not help themselves. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gail Lee Yates and his sister, Melba McIntyre.

Survivors include his children, Deborah Kay Davis; Vivian Denise Gibson; Christy June Snoddy (Johnie); Michelle Daniell Muncy (Brandon); grandchildren, Beau DuVall, Tori DuVall, Lilly DuVall, Cameron Muncy, Shelby Muncy, Ricky Carter, Mandy Carter, Angie Redinger and one great grand daughter, Rhiley DuVall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Dardanelle Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be held Friday. 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery in Dover.
