William "Bill" George Swafford age 75 of Delaware passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.  He was born May 11, 1944 at Doniphan, Missouri to the late George Leonard and Mary Lucille Gunter Swafford.  He was a member of the Delaware First Assembly of God  Church. William was known as a jack of all trades that could build or fix anything.  He was a Sawmiller and he loved to serve his community. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, JoAnn Swafford; his children, Terri Sherrill (Scott), Tim Swafford (Leah Ann) and Hailen Midwell; one brother, Tillman Swafford (Janath); seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and many, many non blood family all over the country.
