Robert Whitten

William Robert Whitten, Jr. age 54, of Ozark went to be with his Lord on Thursday April 4, 2019 at his home.  He was born December 26, 1964 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late William Robert and Betty Word Whitten.

Robert took pride in his greatest blessings - his daughters. His favorite time of the year was when he was with his family on Lake Ouachita for their annual camping trip. He sure enjoyed spending time with his family and keeping a close check on "his babies," Ava and Ella. He was a valuable team member for Denali Water Solutions.

Survivors include his three children, Nicki Whitten of Hernando, MS, Erica Whitten of Booneville, MS and Jessie Whitten of Dardanelle; one brother, Tim Whitten (Lisa) of Atkins; four sisters, Debby Lamb (Chuck) of Fort Smith, Janet Lawrence of Conway, Laura Lampkin of Danville and Darla Sparacino of Ozark.

He was adored by many nieces and nephews, including Charlie Lamb, Josh Lawrence, Jessica Lawrence Branham, Jennifer Lawrence Barnes, Jade Whitten Anuszek, Jake Whitten, Katelyn Smallwood, Ty Whitten, Alex Lampkin Nuckols, Ashton Lampkin, Alleigh and Talan Lawrence, Konnor and Korbin Barnes, Ava and Ella Branham, and Caley Nuckols.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Lamb, Charlie Lamb, Johnny Lawrence, Josh Lawrence, Jake Whitten, and Ty Whitten.

Honorary pallbearers include Sonny Lofland, Dale Catlett, Tony Hester, Kevin Milligan, Lynn Patterson, and the employees of Denali Water Solutions.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his daughter's softball team at Hernando Softball Booster Club, 805 Dilworth Lane, Hernando, MS 38632.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Rover First Baptist Church with Ryan Scantling officiating. Burial will be in Hunt Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday April 8, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle
