Bubby" William L. Wiser, Sr. passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born September 17, 1938 in Havana, Arkansas to Hulon "Shug" Porter and Geneva Pearl Robinson Wiser. He was a member of the Havana Assembly of God Church and a retired Dow Chemical production worker. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Brenda Wiser; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Ray White of Danville; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Charlotte Wiser of Havana, Kevin and Angela Wiser of Russellville, Barry and Brittany Wiser of Havana; brothers and sisters-in-law Clyde and Wanda Wiser of Havana, Boyd and Linda Robinson of Mt. View; six grandchildren, Jesse and Sarah Cleveland of Atkins, Kayla and Ty Osborne of Russellville, Will Wiser and Charlie Wiser of Havana, Kaitlyn Wiser and Kaidence Shomber of Havana; two great-grandchildren, Karley Havens and John Cleveland of Atkins. Graveside service will be on Monday, May 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Havana Cemetery with Rev. Bob Caldwell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
