Willie Otho Catlett age 80 of Sherwood, passed away April 08, 2017 at his home.

He was born May 31, 1936 in Havana, Arkansas to the late Dee & Florence Taylor Catlett. He was a retired Ophthalmologist Technician  with the V.A. Hospital  and Arkansas Air National Guard Veteran. We are all blessed to have known him and to have called him our friend. He was a man with a kind and beautiful soul. His sense of humor could lighten the worst situation.  We will miss him every minute of every day.

He was preceded in death his parents; brothers, J.D., Herbert, and Glendell Catlett; nephews, Jay Dee and Chad Catlett.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Effie Underwood Catlett; children, Tonya Catlett (Judith Baysinger) of North Little Rock; Robin Widmer (Charles) of Conway; Kelly Sledge (John) of Benton; Bryan Catlett (Melissa) of North Little Rock; sisters, Verzene Bell of Havana; Gail Hunt (Delbert) of Danville; brother, Earl Ledean Catlett (Sharon) of California; grandchildren, Rachel and Lauren Widmer, Kaleb and Samuel Sledge.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Moore's Chapel Church with Bro. John McCourt officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 pm before service at the church.
