August 8, 1942 – July 9, 2022
Willodean Sheets Sisson, age 79 of Russellville, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born August 8, 1942 in Danville, Arkansas, to the late Lloyd Steven Sheets and Lavoy Oglesby Sheets Petillo. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Dardanelle, a graduate of Dardanelle High School with a two-year Secretarial Science Degree from Arkansas Polytechnic College (ATU). She retired from ConAgra Foods Human Resource Department with over 36 years of service. Willodean loved her family, church family, working, gardening, oil-painting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenton Sisson; one son, Mike Sisson; her brother, Lloyd Sheets and her sister, Dorthy Geibe.
Survivors include her son, David Sisson (Susan); her daughter, Elizabeth Hoyt; sister, Juana Weatherall; grandchildren, Lucas Hoyt, Charli Gipson, Alexis Stuckey, David Wayne, Trent, Joshua and Sarah Sisson; great grandchildren, Rylee, Ty, Jase Gipson, Lennon, Dylan Hoyt, Olivia Stuckey, Rilynn, Blakely Sisson; sisters-in-law, Barbara Sisson, Peggy Sheets; brother-in-law, Gaylon Smith and her special friends, Bertha Kellybrew and Joann Johns.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church in Dardanelle with Bro. Kelly Pearson officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Kindred Hospice, Arkansas Hospice and also to Angela Antrim for the special care they provided.
Pallbearers will be David Sisson Jr., Trent Sisson, Logan Stuckey, Lucas Hoyt, Doug Sisson and Toney Antrim.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 200 North Second Street, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834.
