Winona Olson Winona Faye "Phillips" Olson age 83 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born October 3, 1930 at the Ranger Community to the late Ashley and Iva Opal Applegate Phillips. She attended the Robinson Point First Assembly of God Church, loved to visit and helped all who came to her with their problems. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Olson; three sons, James Michael Olson, Jeff Olson, Greg Olson; one daughter, Brenda Miller; two brothers, Jack Phillips, Paul Phillips; three sisters, Gracie Mae McCoy, Ina Lou Phillips, Martha Heck. Survivors include three sons, Jackie Olson and wife Sheila of Dardanelle, Larry Olson and wife Chris of Bing Germany, Calvin Olson and wife Diane of Caddo Mills, TX; one daughter, Teresa Dickens and husband Lonnie of Centerville; three brothers, Randy Phillips of New Blaine, James Herman Phillips of Arkansas, Gilbert Phillips and wife Sandy of Mountain Home; two sisters, Wilma Jean Vergitt of Crete, NE, Donna Phillips of Mena; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, October 7, 2013 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Shane Chancellor officiating. Burial will be in the Old Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, 3:00P.M. to 5:00P.M. at the chapel. Pallbearers will be Drew Olson, Michael Norris, Justin Newman, Jonathan Wilcox, Randy Klober, Larry Klober. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Lynn Carter, Randy Lynn Phillips II, Eddie Wilcox. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
