September 30, 1977 – July 24, 2022
Xayphone Phomsithi, age 44, of Danville passed away July 24, 2022 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 30, 1977 in Savannakhet, Laos to Phengma and Hongkham Souphone Phomsithi. Xay was a 1995 graduate of Danville High School. He could fix everything and grow anything. Xay was an incredible cook, known locally for his famous egg rolls. He married his high school sweetheart, and their three children were his greatest blessing. He was everyone's best friend.
Xay was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Noukhiem Sountla.
Survivors include his wife Jenni Isely Phomsithi of Danville; children Tyler Phomsithi (Lisa Renteria), Ava Phomsithi, and Andrew Phomsithi, all of Danville; parents Phengma and Hongkham Phomsithi of Danville; father and mother-in-law, Art and Randy Isely of Danville; grandparents Thin Ketsouryavong, Syla Sountla and Bonnie Isely; sister Siri Phomsithi (Brandon Baker) of Danville; brothers John Phomsithi (Kathy Khamvongsa), David Phomsithi (Tiffany Clowers), and Lion Phomsithi of Danville; sister-in-laws, Randee Gilkey (Jeff) of Danville and Alison Wilson of Springdale; three nieces, ten nephews, and a number of uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Phomsithi, John Phomsithi, David Phomsithi, Lion Phomsithi, Jaycob Phomsithi, Jarrique Hinton, Brady Gower, Quentin Tolbert, and Derrick Gray.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kalyb Phomsithi, Jose Quezada, Gene Daughtry, and Sam Weiser.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Danville First Baptist Church with Bro. Daniel Morris officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Danville First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 909 W 2nd St, Little Rock, AR 72201.
