Xuan Thi Son, 73, of Plainview passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 8th. Xuan was born to Thai Van Truong and Vo Thi Chang in Vietnam on April 6th, 1949.  She moved to Arkansas after meeting the love of her life. She worked hard as a dedicated wife and mother of 4 children. She was known for making incredible food with love and enjoyed feeding everyone she met. Xuan will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Xuan was preceded in death by her husband, William Son Sr. She is survived by her children: William Son Jr (fiancé Sahar), Linda Smith (husband Bobby), Carol Son, and Michael Son (wife Dawn); her grandchildren: Thi Abernathy (husband Derek), Jacob Smith (wife Kayla), Darren Gillespie, Cheyenne Havener, Paxton Son, Ethan Son, Reed Son, and Zahra Son; her great grandchildren: Kaiden Smith, Kymper Abernathy, Breylynn Abernathy, and Aelin Smith.

Visitation will be held at Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville from 5-7PM Friday, June 17th.  Graveside services will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville at 10AM Saturday, June 18th.
