Yvonne Rector-Martz, 87, formerly of Leesburg, IN, passed away May 22, 2022, in Dardanelle, Arkansas at her home. She was born in Evart, MI on April 26, 1935, to Jess and Alice (Shannon) Staats. She married Orville Rector in 1951 who preceded her in death in 1987. And again to Ivan Martz Jr. in 2002 who preceded her in death in 2014. She was a 35-year employee for a Mobile Home Escorting Service and a member of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel.

She is preceded in death by 2 sons, Thomas and James Rector; 1 daughter, Mary Ann Homes; 4 sisters, Evelyn Snyder, Marilyn Staats, Peg Sherlock, and Mary Jane Merrill and 2 brothers, Marty and Robert Staats.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Peg Hartsough of Syracuse, IN, Katherine Griffin of Dardanelle, Arkansas, Carol Fulford of Dardanelle, Arkansas; one son, Robert and Debra Rector of Prierceton, IN; one brother, Jess Staats of Jackson, MI and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 1:00P.M., at Eastland Funeral Home in Syracuse, IN. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior, from noon until 1:00P.M. Burial will follow at Mock Cemetery in North Webster.
